Job Description
We Build Recruitment are now looking to hire a Roofer on behalf of our client, a leading Facilities Management company based in Greater Manchester.
The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing systems and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This role involves working on residential and commercial properties, ensuring roofs are installed, repaired, and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems including tiles, slates, flat roofs, and metal roofs.
* Inspect roofs for damage or leaks and provide recommendations for repairs.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Communicate with clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
* Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices.
* Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
* A valid driver's licence.
