The Role
As a Roofing & Cladding CAD Designer, you’ll play a key role in turning architectural concepts into buildable, compliant solutions. From 2D/3D CAD detailing through to coordination with engineers and installers, you’ll ensure every design meets the highest technical and performance standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Producing accurate 2D/3D CAD designs for roofing, cladding, and associated systems
*
Liaising with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver practical solutions
*
Supporting fabrication and installation with clear, accurate drawings
*
Ensuring compliance with building regulations, CWCT, BS EN, and NHBC standards
*
Helping drive value engineering and innovation in system detailing
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience in roofing/cladding design (contractor, fabricator, or consultancy background)
*
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks (or similar design software)
*
Strong technical detailing skills with an eye for precision
*
Knowledge of materials such as aluminium, steel, and zinc
*
A proactive communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
