Roles and responsibilities
1. Receive handover order from Estimator/admin process. Assess costs, to restricted final budget, specification, materials, labour and facilities, services and attendances.
2. Survey /pre site inspection if required for quotation. Produce programme of works.
3. Making sure appropriate/skilled labour is secured to complete the project.
4. Quantify materials that need ordering and pass it over to Contracts Co-Ordinator for ordering.
5. Liaise with main contractor / client / tenant to inform them of Project commencement date.
6. Produce RAMS – CDM to be considered.
7. Site induction with team carrying out the contract
8. Carry out regular site visits and catch up with main contractor / client
9. Sign off jobs when completed with main contractor / client
10. Produce snagging list if necessary and rectify
11. Delegating emergency work when required
12. Maintaining ongoing contracts – monthly meetings are attended with GM/Ops Manager to maintain and grow relationship.
13. Forward for invoicing.
14. All scaffs tags are completed and submitted.
Deliverables
1. Contracts meet all requirements, margins, programmes and spec.
2. Make sure programme of works fits in with client’s demands and breach dates.
3. Communicate down the line to Operations Manager and other Contracts Manager, to ensure labour is available and others know so teams aren’t double booked.
4. To ensure that the correct amount of materials is ordered and within budget, preventing over ordering and still account for waste product.
5. To ensure that materials are delivered to site and offloaded in the correct place so that teams can continue work efficiently
6. RAMS meet Wright Roofing and Main Contractors health and safety standards
7. Thoroughly explain the scope of works so work runs smoothly. Go through RAMS with site team to ensure health and safety is adhered to and signed accordingly.
8. To ensure contract is running according to plan, health and safety is maintained, M/C is happy and correct any issues.
9. To ensure that M/C is happy with the works and handover guarantees if applicable.
10. To ensure that any snags are rectified to the M/C standard, then pass onto site teams to complete.
11. Ensure emergency works are dealt with quickly and rectified / made safe.
12. To ensure existing contracts are running as per above and not neglected- communication is key!
13. Ensure signed off works are passed over to invoice and adding any extra works if necessary, including all paper/packs are completed.
14. Update and check scaffold prior to handover and on a 7 day rolling basis
