Roofing Estimator - Birmingham
As a Roofing Estimator, you will play a critical role in the success of a succesful and growing business by preparing precise cost estimates for roofing projects, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate estimates
*
Perform site visits to assess and measure roof structures as needed
*
Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs
*
Prepare and present detailed quotes and proposals to clients
*
Collaborate with project managers and sales team to align estimates with client expectations and project goals
*
Source and liaise with suppliers to obtain the most competitive pricing
*
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, techniques, and industry standards
Qualifications:
*
Proven experience as a roofing estimator or in a similar construction estimating role
*
Strong knowledge of roofing systems and construction processes
*
Excellent math and analytical skills
*
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
*
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills
*
Attention to detail and organisational abilities
*
Valid driver’s license
