Job Description
Are you an experienced early years professional looking to step into a leadership role? We’re looking for a dedicated Room Leader to join our welcoming nursery team in Aylesbury, supporting children aged 9 months to 2.5 years. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate of £13.75+, depending on experience.

As Room Leader, you’ll take the lead in planning, organising, and delivering a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where young children can explore, grow, and thrive. You’ll be responsible for ensuring high standards of care and education, as well as supporting and guiding a small team of practitioners within your room.
What you'll do as Room Leader:
* Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS
* Observe and record each child’s development and progress
* Foster strong relationships with children, families, and your team
* Maintain a well-organised, nurturing learning environment
* Lead by example to ensure best practice across the room
We’re looking for a Room Leader who has:
* A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
* Experience working with babies and toddlers in a nursery setting
* Confidence in leading a small team and managing the daily running of a room
* A passion for early years and a commitment to helping children achieve their potential
