Rough Sleeper Navigator
Location: 1 Catford Road, Catford, London, SE6 4RU
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 22.78 per hour

Responsibilities
Engage with individuals experiencing homelessness to build trust and rapport.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs and challenges faced by rough sleepers.
Develop personalized support plans and coordinate with local services to provide tailored assistance.
Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive the appropriate services and benefits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
Work collaboratively with local authorities, charities, and other stakeholders to address homelessness issues.
Participate in outreach programs and community initiatives to prevent homelessness.
Person Specification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vulnerable individuals.
Experience in social work, housing, or a related field is preferred.
Understanding of the challenges faced by homeless individuals and knowledge of available support services.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to promoting equality and diversity in all aspects of the role.
