About the Role
We’re seeking a Rumbling Operative to join a high-precision engineering team in Denham. You’ll work on the finishing line, operating vibratory and barrel finishing equipment to prepare and polish components to exacting quality standards. Your work ensures critical components meet specifications and are ready for the next stage of production.
Key Responsibilities
Operate barrel tumbling and vibratory finishing (rumbling) equipment.
Prepare and mask metallic components to protect bores, holes, and slots from abrasive media.
Inspect parts to confirm quality standards are met.
Pack finished components for internal transport and storage.
Interpret part numbers, drawing issue numbers, process specifications, and finishes.
Skills & Experience
Basic understanding of measuring equipment.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Awareness of health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
Manufacturing or engineering experience, ideally in a finishing/rumbling environment.
