Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager – Territory Sales (Ruminant Feed & Nutrition) Location: Stoke-on-Trent -Cheshire East Salary: Competitive, with performance-related bonus + vehicle + benefits About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead territory sales for a specialist ruminant feed and nutrition business. Covering the Stoke-on-Trent and wider Midlands region, this is a field-based position with a focus on building strong relationships directly with dairy, beef, and sheep producers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of ruminant feed products, offering nutritional support, and identifying growth opportunities across the region. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and manage sales across the Stoke-on-Trent/Midlands territory * Promote a portfolio of ruminant-focused feed and nutritional products * Provide technical support and advice to livestock farmers, tailored to their system (dairy/beef/sheep) * Build and maintain relationships with farmers, vets, feed advisors, and distributors * Attend farm visits, regional shows, and agricultural events * Work with the technical and logistics teams to ensure excellent customer service * Track competitor activity, market trends, and contribute to sales strategy Requirements: * Proven sales experience within ruminant feed or livestock nutrition * Strong knowledge of ruminant production systems and on-farm nutrition * Commercially focused with excellent communication and relationship-building skills * Self-driven, organised, and capable of managing a sales territory independently * Full UK driving licence Desirable: * Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field * Existing contacts within the local farming community (Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire) * Experience in formulating or advising on ruminant rations What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary (based on experience) * Uncapped commission * Company vehicle, phone, and expenses * Autonomy and support to grow a territory * Opportunity to work with a respected and forward-thinking ruminant nutrition business Apply today to discuss this opportunity in confidence.
