SEN Teacher required
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: M1 - M6 Pay scale (Open for discussion) + SEN Allowance
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: After October Half-Term 2024
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our partnered School.
An inclusive and supportive school that specializes in providing exceptional education to students with Special Educational Needs ( Severe learning difficulties and autism).
You will play a key role in delivering personalized learning plans to ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet the unique needs of students with SEN.
* Collaborate with support staff and other teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, making adjustments to learning plans as needed.
* Work closely with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure the well-being and development of each student.
* Maintain an encouraging and positive atmosphere in the classroom that fosters learning and personal growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies, learning difficulties, and behavioural management.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
