Safe Accommodation Manager
Location: Leicestershire (County-wide Refuge & Dispersed Accommodation Services)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week over four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday), with occasional evenings, weekends and participation in an on-call rota.
Salary: £30,296 FTE ( £15.50 - £20.00 per hour dependent on pay status )
We are recruiting for an experienced Safe Accommodation Manager to lead a county-wide refuge and dispersed accommodation service across Leicestershire, supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a dedicated team, oversee service delivery and safeguarding, and work alongside partner agencies to provide high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise and support staff and volunteers across multiple accommodation sites.
Manage referrals, admissions, case allocation and team workloads.
Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring safeguarding best practice is embedded throughout the service.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality support for residents and their children.
Manage staff rotas, supervision, appraisals and professional development.
Monitor service performance, contract reporting and financial records.
Develop partnerships with external agencies and contribute to service development.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, health and safety, equality and confidentiality standards.
Essential Requirements
Experience managing or supervising staff or volunteers.
Experience working within refuge, supported accommodation, housing or domestic abuse services.
Experience supporting vulnerable adults and children.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Understanding of housing and domestic abuse legislation.
Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
