Safeguarding Support and Lead Roles – Schools Across Northampton Are you passionate about the wellbeing and safety of children and young people? Do you have experience or qualifications in safeguarding and a desire to make a meaningful impact within education? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of primary and secondary schools across Northampton to recruit individuals for Safeguarding Support and Lead roles. These vital positions are ideal for individuals who are driven to create safe, supportive school environments where every child can thrive. As part of the safeguarding team, your responsibilities may include responding to safeguarding concerns, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), liaising with external agencies, maintaining accurate safeguarding records, and promoting best practices across the school. We are looking for candidates with experience in any of the following: safeguarding, social work, pastoral support, or youth work. DSL qualification or previous experience in a similar school-based role is highly desirable. Schools value staff who are calm under pressure, compassionate, discreet, and able to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
