Role Requirements
Essential Experience
Minimum 4 years working in UK defence surface ships (consultancy or Armed Forces background considered)
In-depth knowledge of DSA02-DMR and Def Stan 00-056 safety standards
Proven track record in managing and delivering technical safety projects (single or multiple)
Experience supporting bids and business development activity
Strong communication, professionalism, and client-facing skills
Highly organised, capable of working independently (including remotely)
Must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance
Highly Desirable Skills
Experience using safety and risk analysis techniques such as SWIFT, HAZOP, FMECA, FTA, LOPA
Background in autonomous platforms and naval technology
Client relationship management & securing enduring contracts
Experience leading or managing small teams
Degree qualified
Chartered Engineer or member of a recognised professional institution
