We are recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our client’s thriving main dealership in Stockport. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well‑established dealer group known for delivering exceptional customer service, strong brand representation, and consistent business growth.
 
As Sales Manager, you will lead a motivated sales team and play a key role in shaping the performance and success of the dealership’s new and used vehicle operations. You’ll drive standards, maximise sales opportunities, and create a positive, customer‑focused environment where both the team and the business can excel. Lead and oversee a busy sales department—including Sales Executives, the Business Manager, and administrative team members —reporting directly to the General Manager
Manage the team to deliver a seamless sales process while maintaining close customer engagement throughout the vehicle purchase journey
Ensure adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards, including compliance with FCA and financial regulations
Set and exceed targets for unit sales, finance penetration, and additional aftermarket products
Coach, develop, and mentor the sales team, using structured training and performance management to boost individual and team effectivenessSales Manager Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager within a successful car dealership environment
Full UK driving licence.
Self-motivated, driven, and passionate about leadership and team success in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.How to Apply
