£30,000 – £41,000 + Bonus + Profit Share

We are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join a busy and growing team within the building and landscaping trade sector.

This Sales Account Manager position is ideal for someone with experience as a Trade Sales Executive, Builders Merchant Sales Advisor, Sales Executive, Trade Counter Sales or Account Manager who enjoys building relationships rather than hard selling.

As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll work closely with trade and retail customers, handling enquiries, preparing quotes, and supporting customers with their orders while helping to develop new business opportunities across the local area.

If you have experience as a Sales Account Manager, Trade Sales Executive, Builders Merchant Sales Advisor or Account Manager, this could be a great opportunity to join a supportive and successful team.

The Role – Sales Account Manager

As a Sales Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  * Handling customer enquiries via phone, email and in person

  * Preparing competitive quotes and processing sales orders

  * Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships

  * Supporting the development of new business opportunities

  * Working closely with a friendly and supportive sales team

This role would suit someone currently working as a Sales Account Manager, Trade Sales Executive, Sales Advisor, Builders Merchant Salesperson or Account Manager looking for a stable and rewarding opportunity.

About You

To succeed as a Sales Account Manager, you will ideally have:

  * At least 2 years’ experience in sales or account management

  * Experience working as a Sales Account Manager, Trade Sales Executive, Builders Merchant Sales Advisor or similar role

  * Background in builders merchants, landscaping supplies, or construction-related products preferred

  * Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  * A proactive and organised approach to sales

  * Confidence using email, order systems and basic IT tools

  * Reliable transport due to the yard location

Working Hours

  * Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm

  * Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:30pm
