Exeter Area | £27,000 + Bonus (Realistic OTE £32,000+) + Benefits | Monday-Friday | Hybrid | Permanent

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Sales Account Manager to join a growing business in the Exeter area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, uncovering opportunities and working as part of a collaborative team. You'll manage an existing portfolio of customers while identifying new opportunities to grow business relationships.

Success is built on teamwork, professionalism and developing trusted partnerships rather than aggressive selling tactics.

Key Duties

Manage and develop relationships with an existing portfolio of customers.
Identify and engage potential new clients through research, networking and proactive outreach.
Negotiate the purchase and resale of products within international markets.
Build long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for account growth.
Work closely with colleagues to achieve individual, team and company objectives.
Maintain accurate records and manage customer activity through internal systems.

Requirements

Enthusiasm with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify opportunities and confidently engage with prospective customers.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Self-motivated with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
Comfortable working towards targets within a supportive team environment.
Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team success.
Willingness and confidence to travel abroad for client meetings.
Full UK driving licence.Desirable but not essential:

Previous experience in sales, account management, purchasing, business development or a customer-focused commercial role.
Exposure to purchasing, procurement or supply chain environments.
Experience managing accounts and developing client relationships.
Knowledge of electronics, manufacturing or technical products.
Experience working within international or export-focused markets.
