We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join a leading technology business in Basingstoke, specialising in high-performance fibre optic connectivity solutions. This is a UK-wide role, covering both the UK and Ireland, with a 50/50 split between managing existing accounts and generating new business. The ideal candidate will have a proven "hunter" mentality, combined with strong account management skills.
The successful candidate will work across a range of products, including consumables, test equipment, and polishing equipment, delivering exceptional service while driving sales growth and expanding the customer base.

Key Responsibilities
Manage existing accounts and develop new business across the UK and Ireland (50/50 split).
Work closely with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Support marketing initiatives, trade shows, product launches, and messaging campaigns.
Deliver internal and external product training, presentations, and updates on new developments.
Provide sales reports, forecasts, and other materials as required.
Travel across the UK and Ireland to meet customers and grow the customer base.
Conduct market research and stay up to date with emerging fibre optic technologies.________________________________________
Skills & Experience
Proven sales experience, ideally within fibre optic connectivity or related technologies.
Strong account management and new business development skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Willingness and ability to travel across the UK and Ireland.________________________________________
