Sales Administrator – £28,000
Location: Ripon, HG4
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00)

We’re seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our commercial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a dynamic, production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide responsive and professional support to the sales and production teams
Accurately process customer orders and ensure data integrity across systems
Handle technical product inquiries and offer clear, informed guidance
Work cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve issues
Maintain detailed records of customer communications and transactions
Assist in generating sales reports and preparing client-facing presentations
Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
Support account managers in maintaining strong client relationships
Uphold high standards across both office and yard operations
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role within a manufacturing or engineering setting preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Problem-solving mindset with a calm, professional approach under pressure
