Job Description

Sales Administrator V-Recruit are currently working on behalf of a longstanding, reputable and successful family business, that has grown into an industry leader, working across 16 UK-based sites, to recruit a permanent Sales Administrator/Sales Order Coordinator to start work as soon as possible in the Rotherham area. Our client employs over 2,000 people and is one of the largest timber processing specialists in Europe. This role would be based at one of our clients’ pallet & packaging sites in Rotherham; you would be part of a small and friendly sales team, initially completing an all-round Sales Administration role, whilst developing your product knowledge, sales and business development skills with the potential to progress into a sales role in the future. Your main focus will be to support the existing sales, accounts and production departments, to ensure the site runs effectively and efficiently. Duties to include: * Answering phone calls and making follow up calls to customers regarding a variety of topics. * Processing sales orders and assisting with quotations. * Liaising with third part haulage companies, chasing and monitoring customer orders * Raise sales invoices and prepare quotes for customers * Amending and pulling information from Excel Spreadsheets. * Adding to and editing the internal database. * Inputting information into spreadsheets and databases. * Providing any other allround support to existing sales staff. * Maintaining strong sales administration, eventually including use of CRM to follow up all leads, enquiries, quotes. * Complete KPI reports Job Specifics * Salary £24,000 £26,000 per annum, depending on experience (salary will increase with service and experience/performance) * Working hours are office hours, between 9am5pm, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break) * Annual leave is 32 days per annum, including bank holidays. * Enhanced pension scheme: 3% enhanced employer contribution * Performance related bonus available for Sales staff, at up to 10% of annual salary. * This is a permanent role with excellent progression opportunities. The Candidate We are looking for a candidate will the following skills and attributes: * Full UK driving licence, ideally with access to own transport. * Proven sales history, whether administrative or sales advisor. * Good administrative, organisational and time management skills. * Competent in Microsoft applications, and ideally some experience with CRM practices (although training will be given on CRM system) * Effective communicator, with friendly disposition and good customer service skills To Apply To apply for this exciting opportunity or to find out more, please contact V-Recruit on (phone number removed) or apply online
