Location: Oldbury
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)
Bonus: Quarterly company-wide bonus (at client’s discretion)

About the Company

As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Sales and Estimating Administrator to join their friendly and professional team in Oldbury.
The Role
The Sales and Estimating Administrator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations, engaging with customers to understand their project requirements, and negotiating pricing to meet company and customer goals.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and that every quotation opportunity is followed up effectively.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and professional quotations for customers.

Communicate with customers to fully understand their project requirements.
*
Negotiate and discuss pricing confidently to achieve agreed targets.
*
Proactively chase outstanding quotations and follow up on potential leads.
*
Maintain up-to-date records in the quotation database.
*
Handle incoming calls and emails relating to quotations.
*
Liaise with Production, Warehouse, and Transport teams to ensure customer requirements can be fulfilled.
*
Develop a good understanding of the company’s products and services.
Requirements
*
Previous experience in a quotation, estimating, or internal sales role.
*
Experience within the electrical industry is advantageous but not essential.
*
Strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail.
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*
Confident negotiation and closing abilities.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
*
Able to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
