We're on the lookout for a results-driven Sales and Marketing Executive to join a fast-growing packaging business focused on expanding brand awareness, driving new customer acquisition, and increasing account retention across a diverse and innovative product range.
About the Role
In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal part in building market presence and generating new business opportunities. Reporting directly to a light-hearted senior management team, you will work collaboratively with an external digital agency while also taking hands-on responsibility for B2B sales, marketing campaigns, and client relationship management.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring creativity, strategy, and a commercial mindset to a key role that directly impacts company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and implement targeted sales and marketing campaigns to attract and convert prospective customers.
Proactively identify and approach new B2B clients via online research, outbound communication, and database development.
Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospects and actively follow up on leads and sample requests.
Develop compelling marketing content and support campaigns through email marketing, PR, trade media, and social media.
Increase retention and revenue from existing and lapsed customers through cross-selling and promotional activity.
Analyse competitors to continually refine and strengthen marketing and sales strategies.
Deliver regular sales performance reports and campaign analytics to management.
Keep digital channels and social media up to date with key product lines and promotional messages.
Provide excellent customer service in handling inbound enquiries and maintaining high standards of client communication.Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong background in B2B sales, marketing, or business development, ideally within manufacturing, packaging, or product-based sectors, yet not essential.
Confident communicator with excellent copywriting and customer engagement skills.
Proactive and highly organised, with experience in lead generation, CRM management, and digital marketing tools.
A commercial thinker who is goal-focused, analytical, and driven by results.
Experience working with or alongside digital marketing agencies is advantageous.Key Metrics for Success
Increase new account acquisition month-on-month.
Regular outreach to prospective companies per month.
Deliver a minimum of one digital campaign per month.
Achieve targeted annual sales growth and customer conversion KPIs.Working Hours & Location
Part-Time: 3-5 days per week (10:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Office based in Altrincham unless visiting clients.
