Role Overview: The Sales & Development Manager is responsible for executing the growth strategy of the company across the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Medical industries by developing and executing an annual Sales & Business Development Plan, in line with company strategy. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and executing the entire sales process from generating leads and nurturing customer relationships to negotiating terms and finalizing deals. The Sales & Development Manager operates from a strong track record in the Medical, Healthcare or related sectors and has deep expertise in securing meaningful relationships with prospect customers and existing clients. Responsibilities Sales & Development Plan: * Developing and implementing a comprehensive annual Sales/Business Development Plan, for the medical segment, able to achieve (new) business development and customer account objectives. Client Relationship and New Business Development: * Identify key accounts, OEMs, and brand owners in the Medical Industry * Build and maintain long-term relationships. * Develop strategic action plans for both new and existing customers/partners in terms of volume and margin. Continuously filling and converting of opportunity pipeline * Active representation of the company at trade fairs, events, and networking meetings. Market Intelligence & Product Portfolio Development: * Analysing customer needs and research on the latest market developments. * Collaborate with internal Technical experts in translating customer needs into product improvements / innovations. * Constantly monitor market intelligence, media etc to identify prospect customers/opportunities. Sales Results and Reporting: * Monitor actuals vs KPIs /budget, analyze deviations and take necessary actions in order to achieve objectives. * Periodically report results to Management team * Responsible for managing and closing the full sales process including resolving bottlenecks in the sales cycle and give recommendations for process improvements. Candidate Profile: * Proven connections and sales achievement in Medical, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare markets. * Demonstrable success in markets of interest, in particular proven success in winning new business and securing relations with key players in the sector. * Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for medical devices (preferred) * Proficiency in CRM software For reasons of better legibility, the simultaneous use of the language forms male, female and diverse (f/m/d) is avoided.
