About the Client: Our client is a highly established, leading fullservice distribution company specialising in machinery and trucks. They provide equipment and solutions to the construction and transport industries, among others. About the role: We are looking for a highly organised and detail oriented individual to provide essential administrative support to our clients field sales team, ensuring a smooth and efficient Order to Delivery process. This role plays a key part in managing and maintaining the accuracy of order routines within their system, supporting the wider sales function and helping them deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial order through to final delivery. What you'll be doing: Support Field Sales by managing machine reservations, inventory availability, and pre-order requirements Check sales orders for accuracy and feasibility Submit purchase orders and liaise with suppliers Work with Finance Houses to ensure accurate invoicing and prompt payment Maintain occasional direct contact with regular customers Manage machine prep for shows, demos, and exhibitions Oversee the full Order to Delivery process, from order entry to final documentation Track orders through to completion, including changes, invoicing, and delivery Report on sales value, margin, and costing variances; contribute to sales forecasting Provide ad hoc reporting and support departmental projects Maintain inventory databases and reconcile stock records Coordinate new machine deliveries with haulage partners Requirements Essential Proactive order management and organisational skills Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities Strong multitasking skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams Ability to work accurately under pressure, independently and collaboratively Quick adaptability to computerised data systems and strong overall computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook) Customer-focused mindset, aligned with our clients values and vision Understanding of dealer operations and customer business needs Desirable Experience with the current Dealer Management System (iDMS) Negotiation skills Familiarity with MRP environments Good technical knowledge of our clients product range Comprehensive understanding of the business’s total product offering Our client offers a host of excellent benefits; Health Cash Plan Free Physio Access 24/7 GP Service Host of additional Health & Wellbeing Support and benefits Enhanced Sick Pay Family Leave IVF Support Retirement Support Pension –Contributions up to 5%.
