Sales Controller
Location: Reading
Hours: Monday–Saturday (day off in week) + Sunday rota
🧾 The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Controller to join a busy and successful dealership in Reading.
This is a key role within the sales team, supporting the Sales Manager in driving performance, profitability, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
  * Support the Sales Manager in running the sales department
  * Assist in managing and motivating a team of Sales Executives
  * Help drive sales performance, volume, and profitability
  * Desk deals and support with closing sales
  * Monitor daily activity, enquiries, and conversions
  * Assist with stock control, pricing, and margin management
  * Ensure strong F&I performance and compliance
  * Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI)
✅ Requirements
  * Previous experience as a Sales Controller / Senior Sales Executive
  * Strong track record of achieving targets and KPIs
  * Excellent sales and closing skills
  * Good leadership and team support ability
  * Commercial awareness with focus on profitability
  * Full UK driving licence
