What the Technical Sales Engineer entails
* Provide technical support to the sales team across the full lifecycle, from lead generation through to order booking and quotation.
* Develop and deliver tailored techno-commercial solutions that meet customer requirements and ensure technical compliance.
* Act as the technical point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and understanding evolving needs.
* Present products and solutions through meetings, demonstrations, events, and webinars to support business development.
* Coordinate with internal teams to manage product approvals, maintain accurate documentation, and support smooth project handover and CRM updates.
Requirements of the Technical Sales Engineer
* Degree-qualified engineer (electronics, electrical, mechanical or similar) with 1–3 years’ industry experience.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Customer-focused mindset, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
* Willingness to travel regularly (approx. 30%), primarily within the UK with occasional international trips.
* Full Driving License
