Defence Technical Sales Manager

West Midlands Hybrid Field Based UK Wide Travel

A leading engineering and fabrication business is seeking a Defence Technical Sales Manager to drive new business and engineering sales growth across the UK defence sector. This Defence Technical Sales opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or defence engineering sales environments.

The Defence Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business within the MoD support services supply chain, selling stainless steel and mild steel components and fabricated assemblies. This Defence Technical Sales role requires a proactive approach to lead generation, prospecting, and conversion within defence and engineering sales markets.

Key responsibilities within this Defence Technical Sales role include identifying target customers, managing the full sales cycle, and delivering tailored fabrication solutions. The Defence Technical Sales Manager will focus on applications including storage systems, accommodation units, washroom facilities, and catering environments within defence.

Candidates for this Defence Technical Sales position should have a proven track record in engineering sales, fabrication, or defence-related markets. A strong new business mindset is essential, alongside the ability to build relationships and manage long-term customer accounts. Experience within the defence sector or ex-forces background with commercial exposure will be advantageous for this Defence Technical Sales role.
