As Sales Engineer you will be the technical lead in an established territory of Industrial customers, supporting the sales team in predominantly Automotive Aftermarket applications. You will receive bonus, hybrid company car, private medical health plan, daily food and drink allowance when on the road and much more.
You will be joining the team of a world leader in surface finishing products who specialise in total solutions in which the abrasives are supplemented by innovatively designed machines and polishing compounds.
As Sales Engineer you will:
Work with the sales team and channel partners to visit customers, identifying opportunities for new business and working with them to convert.
Provide product demonstrations and training to customers.
Provide technical support for national account clients.
Use Microsoft Office packages to manage data and present relevant information to both our Client and their Customer and Colleagues.
Carry out trials in target groups (Audits (Process, Products & Tooling) Product Testing, KPI measurements, Produce Bespoke Core List of Products etc.).
We are keen to speak to people about this Sales Engineer role who have the following skills and experience:
A solid technical background in the surface finishing sector.
Ideally have hands on experience of aftermarket automotive body repair processes and methods, however strong surface finishing experience from other sectors will be considered.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of AEOM sectors.
KAM skills and experience.
In return you will receive a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 pa plus bonus, company pension, life assurance and 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
