Job Description
Our client is seeking a Sales/Application Engineer with a strong background in refrigeration to join their team. This is a technical role that requires hands-on industry experience and the ability to understand and recommend the correct refrigeration solutions based on client needs.
This is not a cold-calling sales position. The ideal candidate will use their technical knowledge and experience to consult with clients, understand site-specific requirements, and provide expert advice on equipment selection.
The company offers commission/bonuses on successful sales
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend client sites to assess refrigeration needs and provide tailored solutions
* Use hands-on technical knowledge to support the application and specification of appropriate systems
* Support the sales process through technical consultation, not traditional cold-calling
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes
* Maintain and grow strong client relationships across the designated region
Requirements:
* Strong technical background in refrigeration systems (essential)
* Comfortable working on-site and applying "on the tools" experience in a consultative sales environment
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
* Willingness to travel across the assigned regions
* Self-motivated and capable of managing time and appointments independently
