Job Description

Job Title: Sales and Estimating Support Analyst Responsible to: Sales Manager The Company Ethos: Our clients aim to provide their clients with an unrivalled service for the design, supply and installation of all passive fire protection requirements. The Role : The position of Sales and Estimating Support Analyst will support the sales and estimating team in their roles to develop sales opportunities and provide pricing to clients to deliver works in line with our target profit margins. They will provide assistance to survey, measure, scope and price opportunities / enquiries received and actively drive the business growth by engaging with clients and prospects to help secure work. Location: Position is based in the Wickford office with travel and attendance to sites as required. Duties and Responsibilities: Duties will include but are not limited to the following:- * Professionally engage and respond to incoming sales enquiries in a timely fashion. * Implement sales techniques with a specific focus on maximising accounts and new business through outreach. * Ensure effective engagement and use of opportunity tracking tools from initial client engagement to completion of the enquiry, with all inputs communicated effectively and in good time across the business to aid sales forecasting and business planning. * Assist in the development and delivery of the company Marketing plan to assist in achieving annual and monthly sales targets. * Maintain and develop strong relationships with all customers. * Proactively engage and deliver all marketing and company promotional material, including social media. * Follow up written quotations, ensuring accurate and full data input/capture within HFP’s CRM system (EasyBop). * Ensure customer relationship knowledge is shared within CRM and update colleagues within other internal teams, e.g., Operations, Contract Management and Accounts on an ongoing basis. * Work cohesively with members of HFP’s Sales and Estimating team to ensure that sales strategies and market intelligence are shared and harmonised. * Responsibility for overseeing the correct use of CRM and data capture protocols across the business. * Completion of Expressions of Interest, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Invitations to Tender. The Individual In order to undertake this role, the successful candidate will need to be an ambitious individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and sales-focused environment. In addition, they will be required to have: * Experience working within the Construction, sub-contracting or aligned Building Services sectors. * Experience and wide knowledge of current Sales and Marketing techniques including all relevant social media platforms. * Experience of constructing quotations in relation to client work enquiries * Exceptional customer service skills. * Always promote effective and constructive communication and team ethics. * Knowledge of business principles – sales and marketing, budgeting, cost and profitability. * Strong communication skills. * Organised and accurate. * Good IT skills. This is an office based opportunity, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
