Sales Executive – Travel & Adventure Sector

Inverness 

Are you an ambitious sales person with a passion for travel and delivering outstanding customer service? We’re recruiting for a Sales Executive to join a leading international adventure travel specialist based near Inverness. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a tight-knit, high-performing team in the outdoor travel sector — perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships and ensuring customer service.

With a starting salary of circa £26,000, hybrid working options, and opportunities for global travel, this is your chance to turn your passion into a career!

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop expert knowledge of global adventure tour itineraries to confidently guide customer decisions

Respond to enquiries and manage the full customer journey from lead to post-booking support

Convert leads into bookings through a consultative sales approach

Coordinate closely with marketing and operations to ensure alignment on customer messaging

Maintain accurate records in the CRM and help improve internal systems and processes

What Experience is Required?

Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage multiple client journeys simultaneously

Proactive with excellent attention to details

Salary & Benefits

£24,000 – £28,000 DOE

30 days holiday including bank holidays

Opportunity to join an overseas tour annually (land costs covered)

Hybrid working options (90% office-based)
