Job Description

Job title: Sales Executive

Location: Dover

Salary: up to £35,000 (OTE c.£47,000)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

The role:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our client, a well-established provider of third-party freight bookings and customs clearance services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional to take ownership of business development across the UK. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, winning new business and developing strong, long-term relationships with customers.

Opportunity for career progressionKey responsibilities would be to:

Generate new business through proactive cold calling and outbound sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK
Sell ferry services to new and existing customers
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
Take ownership of accounts once onboarded, ensuring they are nurtured and maximised
Prepare and provide accurate quotations to customers
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services
Negotiate with customers to secure new business
Attend customer site visits when requiredExperience and skills required:

Previous B2B sales experience
Proven experience in business development and account management
Confident carrying out telesales and cold calling
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
A proven ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships
Strong administrative and numerical skills with good attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A confident, positive and engaging personality
Self-motivated, commercially driven and target-focused
