Job Description

Job title: Sales Executive Location: Remote (with occasional travel to HQ, client meetings etc in the South East) Salary: Up to £40k - £45k basic plus commission scheme and great benefits including a 32 hour work week Overview: * Our client is a well-regarded SME Professional Services firm, established for 11 years now, specialising in supporting Technology, Digital and Software Suppliers getting onto government frameworks. * As a key part of the sales team you’ll work directly with ambitious founders and commercial teams from some of the most exciting Digital and Technology companies in the UK. You’ll help them break into and grow within the UK public sector by guiding them through frameworks like G-Cloud, DOS and Tech Services and then bid winning opportunities once they are there. They’re a small, expert team with a big impact. Over the last decade, they have helped hundreds of digital suppliers sell to the UK public sector more effectively, by demystifying procurement, unlocking access to the right frameworks and crafting winning bids. * You’ll be joining a close-knit, supportive team where your ideas will be valued, your development will be backed, and your work will have real visibility. * Culture: Very progressive and collaborative with an emphasis on autonomy and flexibility. They even offer a 4 day work week (32 hours) with no impact on salary! Responsibilities will include but not limited to: * You’ll play a key role in turning interest into action by converting inbound leads, identifying strategic opportunities; This is a consultative sales role with high levels of autonomy, responsibility, and support. You’ll be engaging with smart, motivated buyers and you’ll need to be just as smart and motivated yourself ; Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close, including discovery, scoping, and proposals * Will be driven to hit your sales target and convert warm leads generated by the marketing team into qualified opportunities * Identify and pursue new business through targeted outreach and relationship building; Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and improve lead conversion * Maintain a clean, accurate (Hubspot) CRM and provide regular reporting on pipeline health * Contribute to the evolution of their sales processes, assets and GTM strategy What they’re looking for: * A coachable, kind and open person that wants to be part of a small but very ambitious sales team. This is a pure sales role with full support and management. * 3-5+ years in B2B sales, ideally in bidding, tech consultancy or digital services * You’re driven, coachable, and naturally curious, you ask good questions and listen well * You understand the sales cycle and how to manage leads and a pipeline to target * You know your way around a CRM and understand how to manage a pipeline * You’re motivated by solving problems for clients * Experience with the UK public sector is a bonus but not a requirement Remuneration: * Competitive basic salary (in the region of £35k - £45k) * Commission scheme (Circa £20k - £25k per annum on top of salary) * 4-day work week (32 hours) with no impact on salary * Flexible working hours (between 7am and 7pm) * Work from home (and abroad from time to time) * Office closure between Christmas and New Years * Unlimited volunteering time * Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave * 5 days paid Carers Leave
