Proclinical is seeking a Sales Manager to join a dynamic and purpose-driven team in the animal health and food production industry. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, customer success, and driving business growth. You will play a key role in expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to a more sustainable food system.
Responsibilities:
Lead and execute sales activities at both operational and tactical levels.
Manage a specific market or region to drive customer acquisition and growth.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key customers to ensure long-term success.
Analyze sales data to provide actionable insights and advise on strategy and market opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of solutions.
Enhance sales processes and models to drive commercial excellence.
Mentor and support junior sales team members.
Represent the organization in customer meetings and industry events.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Proven ability to manage strategic customer accounts and close deals.
Strong commercial acumen with a customer-first mindset.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
Experience in a commercial B2B environment, preferably in food, feed, or ingredients.
Educational background in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Structured and analytical thinker with strong project and time management skills.
Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently while influencing stakeholders.
Willingness to travel internationally to meet customer needs.
Passion for sustainability and familiarity with the agrifood sector.
