Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Sales Manager for a well-established Freight Forwarder. The role is based in the Sunbury-on-Thames area.
Duties:-
* Full responsibility for overseeing and managing the Sales operation
* Working closely with the MD on all Sales matters
* Responsible for growing the department (including recruitment)
* Managing Sales executives (Internal and External)
* Meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits
* Building up suspects and converting them to prospects
* Profiling customers
* Demonstrating and presenting products
* Assist with generating new business
* Managing and growing existing clients
* Maintaining accurate sales records
* Attending trade exhibitions, conferences & meetings
* Reviewing sales performance
* Negotiating contracts with customers and closing the contract
* Working towards monthly or annual targets.
Requirements:-
- Freight sales experience
- Ability to sell all products including Air, Ocean and Roadfreight
