Responsibilities and duties of the Sales Manager role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will:
Propose technical solutions tailored to customer requirements across power switching and monitoring systems
Work closely with the tender team to produce quotations and technical documentation
Provide technical support to customers and the UK sales team on large-scale projects.
Assist the sales team with technical estimates for quotations.
Attend customer sites for training, product updates, project meetings, commissioning, and handover
Prepare and deliver quotations and tender submissions for power switching and monitoring products
Identify and report additional work opportunities during site visits.
Represent the business at pre- and post-tender meetings
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Degree or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience in technical sales or applications within electrical engineering
Knowledge of switchgear, metering, or critical power systems (desirable)
Commissioning and switchgear experience (desirable).
Personal skills
The Sales Manager role would suit someone who is:

Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
Confident presenting and engaging with customers at all levels
Highly organised with strong time management skills.
