Job Description
Hamilton Finch is delighted to collaborate with a prestigious client in the aerospace and manufacturing industry to appoint an experienced Aerospace and Manufacturing Sales Specialist. This pivotal role is centred on promoting and maximising the subcontract services our client offers, such as waterjet and laser profile cutting, large format 3D printing, powder coat finishing, and precision engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategically develop and implement sales initiatives to effectively market subcontracting services to target markets within the aerospace sector.
* Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients by understanding their specific manufacturing needs and demonstrating how our client’s services can resolve their technical challenges.
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and client engagement through to deal closure and ongoing client management.
* Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure a thorough understanding and accurate representation of the services’ capabilities and benefits.
* Regularly attend industry-specific tradeshows, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and develop new business opportunities.
* Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts, maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and client communications in our CRM system.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sectors, with a solid track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong technical understanding, ideally with hands-on experience or comprehensive knowledge of waterjet and laser cutting, 3D printing, and advanced engineering processes.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining productive client relationships.
* Willingness to travel extensively as required to meet business needs and client demands.
* Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strategic approach to sales and business development.
