Sales Manager
Salary: £35,000 Basic + £70,000 OTE
Industry: Automotive / Finance
Hours: 42.5 hrs/week (Mon–Fri 10am–7pm | Sat 10am–6pm | Sun 10am–4pm, 5-day rota)
Overview:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead a high-performing Central Funding Unit within a fast-growing automotive retailer. This is a key leadership role focused on driving finance performance, coaching a team of Business Managers, and delivering excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a team of Business Managers
* Drive Finance & Insurance (F&I) performance and exceed targets
* Support customers in finding suitable finance solutions
* Handle inbound and outbound finance leads
* Maintain strong relationships with lending partners
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal processes
* Conduct regular one-to-ones and performance reviews
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sales management, ideally within automotive or finance
* Strong leadership and coaching abilities
* Track record of achieving F&I targets
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* FCA accreditation or willingness to obtain
* Professional, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
