Location: Berkshire

I’m working with a respected architectural steelwork company based in Berkshire, and we’re looking to appoint a Sales Manager to drive growth and manage client relationships across the South and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, hardworking, and diligent, with a strong background in sales within the steelwork industry—particularly architectural metalwork such as balconies, balustrades, staircases, and facades.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the architectural and structural steel sector.
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, main contractors, developers, and construction professionals.
*
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to final negotiation and handover to the project team.
*
Work closely with estimating, design, and project teams to provide accurate information and maintain client satisfaction.
*
Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
*
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
*
Deliver sales targets and report on pipeline activity.
Requirements:

Proven track record of sales success within the steelwork industry.
*
Experience working with architectural metalwork (balconies, balustrades, facades, staircases)
*
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
*
Confident communicator with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
*
Self-motivated with a proactive and professional approach to work.
*
Full UK driving licence.
