Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a global leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts, generating new business opportunities across the Northwest, as well as leading a high-performing regional sales team. You will be selling products such as valves, pneumatics, sensors, pumps, instrumentation, and associated products.
Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling engineered products and solutions, with the desire to grow sales plus manage an engineering sales team. Full product training provided.

Managing a number of key accounts for engineering products such as valves, sensors, pumps, instrumentation, pneumatics, and associated equipment via OEM and end user customers.
Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development, selling valve and flow control solutions.
Manage a small team of Sales Engineers.
Maintaining new valve product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
Working closely with the service and technical support teams to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Fully remote covering the North West region.Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Requirements
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Representative or similar within engineering.
A technical mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
Experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts within flow control, valves, pumps, instrumentation, pneumatics, or other transferable products such as hydraulics, MRO, rotating equipment, or industrial systems.
Knowledge of the flow control market, including valves, sensors, instrumentation, pneumatics, or related products/services is advantageous.
Valve Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress into a sales role would also be of interest.
Full clean driving license. Willingness to travel across the North West region
