Sales Manager – Parts

Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £42,000 per annum + Uncapped Monthly Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 16:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a Parts Sales Manager to join a well-established and internationally recognised business based in Chesterfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a long-standing workforce and a global presence. This is a hands-on management position where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department whilst supporting and developing your team.

Key responsibilities of a Sales Manager include:

  * Managing spare parts procurement, stock control and inventory accuracy

  * Overseeing parts sales, customer enquiries, quotations, returns and invoicing

  * Ensuring efficient distribution and timely delivery of spare parts to customers

  * Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive repeat business

  * Leading, motivating and developing the Parts Team

  * Managing and supporting marketing initiatives including sales mailshots and social media campaigns

  * Working with approximately 35-40 inbound enquiries per day across the team, alongside proactive outbound business development activity

  * Monitoring departmental KPIs, reporting, pricing and promotions

  * Identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

  * Collaborating with internal departments to improve operational efficiency

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  * Previous experience within a Parts Manager, Parts Supervisor or Senior Parts Advisor position

  * At least 5 years’ experience within the automotive, construction or related sectors

  * Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams

  * Excellent customer service and communication abilities

  * Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  * The confidence to take ownership, make decisions and lead from the front

  * A proactive approach and the ability to work using your own initiative
