Job Description
Our client based in St Ives are seeking a full-time permanent Sales Order Processor to join them, working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm with an earlier finish on a Friday.
We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Sales Order Processor that will effectively support Sales & Despatch teams. In this varied day to day role you get involved with lots of different duties including:-
Key Responsibilities
* Processing customer orders and dispatch paperwork accurately.
* Liaising with purchasing and warehouse and other internal teams to meet customer requirements.
* Negotiate with freight couriers for best shipment options.
* Keep customers informed and updated with tracking details and documentation.
* Maintain accurate admin records and supporting process improvements continuously
* Provide wider team support and cover as required.
To be considered for the Sales Order Processor role you will have
* GCSE Maths & English (Grade C/4+) or equivalent.
* Previous admin experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Confident using MS Office, email, and online systems.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
* Proactive, organised, and a great team player.
* (Desirable) Experience in sales admin or logistics
* Full UK driving licence, preferably your own transport due to location
