Midlands to North East (with regular travel to sites/client locations; periodic office visits required).
Salary:
£30,000 ‒ £40,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Role Summary
We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Representative to generate and secure new business opportunities within the industrial flooring sector. The role covers the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through to securing contracts and orders. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider sales team and report directly to senior management.
Key Responsibilities

Prospect for new business leads across the UK, particularly in sectors such as automotive, manufacturing & warehousing, commercial, data centres, food & drink, healthcare, education, and aviation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering managers, factory managers, construction companies, facilities managers, project managers, contractors, and other key decision-makers.
*
Conduct client visits, site surveys, and presentations to fully understand specifications, challenges, and project requirements.
*
Collaborate with technical and estimating teams to prepare accurate, compliant, and competitive quotations.
*
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure profitability while delivering value to clients.
*
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs (new contracts, revenue growth, margin, etc.).
*
Maintain and update a pipeline of opportunities within CRM systems and provide regular sales reporting.
*
Stay up to date with industry developments, product innovations, competitor activity, emerging regulations, and market trends.

Represent the business at trade shows, networking events, and other industry functionsBefore You Apply
