Solutions Engineer / Applications Manager – HVAC
We’re partnered with a leading HVAC contractor with offices across the UK. Their expertise lies in the design, quotation, and installation of Air Conditioning solutions for commercial premises. This opportunity sits within their branch covering Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and West London, supporting clients across a broad range of sectors.
They’re now looking to appoint a Solutions Engineer / Applications Manager – someone who can act as the bridge between clients, architects, and the internal project teams. You’ll be responsible for developing tailored Air Conditioning solutions, preparing designs and quotations, and ensuring a smooth handover into project delivery.
This role would suit a technically minded individual who also enjoys being customer-facing. You may currently be in an Applications, Solutions, Pre-Sales, or Sales Engineer role within the Air Conditioning sector, or have a background in design with strong client interaction experience.

* £65,000 base salary

Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with clients and architects to establish the most effective Air Conditioning solutions for commercial projects
* Produce layouts, designs, and technical quotations
* Build and maintain strong relationships with end clients, consultants, and architects
* Liaise with Project Management teams to ensure smooth handover and successful project delivery
Ideal Background
* Experience in Air Conditioning applications, design, or pre-sales/solutions engineering
* Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems with the ability to design and quote
* Comfortable in a client-facing role, able to build trust and long-term relationships
* Commercial awareness and an eye for identifying opportunities to add valueBefore You Apply
