Role: Sales & Trade Counter Advisor
Location: Hertford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
Salary: £14.50 an hour, weekly pay
Temporary to Permanent opportunity

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Sales & Trade Counter Advisor to join a well-established client based in Hertford.
Duties of a Sales & Trade Counter Advisor:
Handle customer enquiries via email, phone, and in person at the trade counter.
Process and put together accurate sales orders using computer systems.
Provide friendly, efficient service to both new and existing customers.
Support the sales team with day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth order flow.
Assist with stock enquiries and product selection when needed.
Contribute to promotions and sales activities in-store and online.
What we would like from you:
Previous experience within sales order processing
Previous experience in B2B sales (wholesale, builders’ merchants, or garden/DIY sheds)
Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and in person.
Highly organised and attention to detail
Team Player
An interest in horticulture or plants is desirable
