Our client based in Dursley are currently recruiting for a Sample Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity to join a business who are focused on continued growth by supporting customers with expert knowledge and top-notch customer service.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and be able to confidently maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, customers and supply chain contacts in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
-Checking and processing sample requests
-Raise purchase orders and share with supply chain partners
-Work with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure orders are produced and delivered correctly
-Liaise with customs team to ensure samples are crossing the borders with correct paperwork
-Follow up on status of samples and contact to relevant colleagues and supply chain partners
-Keep log of all samples in stock and replace samples (if required)
-Receive and check samples when they arrive
-Pack and arrange dispatch of samples to customers
-Answer enquiries and pass to the relevant colleague/department if required
-Ad hoc duties may be required to support the wider business
Candidate Attributes:
-Proactive and adaptable with a “can do” attitude
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to stay calm under pressure
-Strong communication skills
Hours – Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week – early Friday finish
Salary - £28,000 + 5% pension, life assurance, study support and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
