🔩 About the Role:
As a Sand Blaster, you'll play a vital role in preparing metal parts-ranging from small components to large fabrications-for the finishing process. You'll be working inside a dedicated blast room and will be responsible for ensuring all components are thoroughly cleaned and prepared to the highest standard.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Work to specific production schedules and deadlines
Pick and assemble kits of parts using checklists
Load and unload items for blasting
Operate and maintain blasting equipment, including checking and changing filters, nozzles, and dust extraction units
Keep your workspace clean, tidy, and safe
Adhere strictly to company safety procedures and wear all required PPE
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members🛠️ What We're Looking For:
Experience: Sand blasting experience preferred, but not essential - full training provided
Licences: Valid forklift and/or overhead crane licences desirable
Skills:
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Positive, can-do attitude
