Job Description
SAP Ariba Solution Architect
Location: Windsor, UK – Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite initially
Contract: 6 months
We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a large-scale procurement transformation programme.
The successful candidate will own the end-to-end SAP Ariba solution architecture, ensuring effective integration across SAP and non-SAP platforms and alignment with enterprise architecture and procurement strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own end-to-end SAP Ariba solution architecture.
Lead solution design workshops with Procurement, Finance, IT and business stakeholders.
Design scalable and secure solutions across the SAP Ariba Suite.
Design and govern integrations between SAP Ariba, SAP ECC, S/4HANA and SAP BTP/CPI.
Produce architecture diagrams, solution blueprints and integration specifications.
Provide technical and architecture leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments and solution assurance.
Support future-state procurement architecture and transformation roadmaps.
Work closely with implementation partners and technical delivery teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
10+ years' relevant SAP Ariba Solution Architecture experience.
Extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale SAP Ariba procurement transformations.
Deep expertise across Ariba Buying, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP) and Guided Buying.
Strong Source-to-Pay (S2P) and procurement process knowledge.
Strong integration experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with SAP BTP / SAP CPI integrations.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security and integration governance.
Experience producing solution architecture artefacts and integration strategies.
Strong architecture governance and solution assurance experience.
Excellent senior stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Desirable
SAP Ariba or relevant SAP certifications.
Supplier onboarding and supplier risk management experience.
SAP MDG, BW/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud exposure.
Global/multi-country procurement transformation experience.
Experience within regulated enterprise environments.
Agile, SAFe or hybrid delivery experience.
Procurement target operating model and transformation roadmap experience.
Candidates should be comfortable working onsite in Windsor approximately 1 day per week initially.
