Job Description
Are you an experienced machine operator with a keen eye for detail? Our client, a well-established UK manufacturer is looking for a Beamsaw Operator to join their team in Preston.
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
What You’ll Be Doing:
Programming, setting, and operating a Beamsaw
Trimming materials and managing stock
FLT driving (training provided)
Using lifting equipment and manual machinery (Circular/Band Saws, Sanders, Routers, Guillotines)
Carrying out measurements, inspections, and general housekeeping
Using PC terminals to manage production
Providing cover for joinery work and supporting the wider team when needed
What We’re Looking For:
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Full UK driving licence (required)
What You’ll Get in Return:
