SC Cleared Azure Infrastructure Engineer

£500 - £550 p/d INSIDE IR35

UK BASED - REMOTE

3 Months intiially 

Our client is looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and testing of Microsoft Azure Backup Server across Windows Server environments. This role is ideal for someone with strong infrastructure, backup, and disaster recovery experience who can deliver reliable Azure-connected backup solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and configure MABS on Windows Server infrastructure.
Connect MABS to Azure Recovery Services Vaults and configure backup policies, retention, and recovery options.
Validate DNS, Azure connectivity, backup jobs, and recovery processes.
Repeat deployments across additional servers and support disaster recovery testing, documentation, and recovery procedures.Require Experience

Active Security Clearance
5+ years' experience in infrastructure engineering, consulting, or a similar technical role.
Strong Windows Server administration skills.
Hands-on experience with Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, and MABS.
Good understanding of networking, DNS, and Azure connectivity.
Experience with backup technologies such as DPM, Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, or similar.
Ability to support disaster recovery testing, documentation, and business continuity planning.If you are a hands-on Azure infrastructure specialist with strong backup and recovery experience, we would like to hear from you
