Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Scaffolder to join our team, primarily responsible for the striking (dismantling) of scaffold structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scaffold systems, follow site safety protocols, and work efficiently as part of a team to take down scaffolding in a safe, methodical, and organized manner.
Key Responsibilities:

Dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently, following site plans and supervisor instructions.

Ensure all components are handled with care and returned to designated storage areas or vehicles.
*
Inspect scaffolding during striking for any signs of damage, wear, or missing parts and report accordingly.
*
Work at height using appropriate fall protection and PPE.
*
Secure and organize all scaffolding equipment after dismantling.
*
Maintain clear communication with team members and site supervisors.
*
Follow all health and safety regulations, including manual handling procedures.
*
Keep the worksite clean and free of trip hazards during and after dismantling operations.
*
Identify and mitigate risks associated with dismantling (e.g., weather, site conditions).
*
Load and unload scaffolding equipment from vehicles as required.
Requirements:
*
Valid CISRS Card (Part 1, Part 2, or Advanced, depending on role complexity).
*
Experience in striking/dismantling scaffolding on various types of projects (residential, commercial, industrial).
*
Good understanding of working at height regulations and fall protection.
*
Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings (desirable).
*
Physically fit and able to lift/carry heavy materials.
*
Strong awareness of site safety and hazard identification.
*
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.
