Job Description:
We are looking for a Scaffolder with part 1 or part 2 qualifications, your primary responsibility is to erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
General:
*
Erect, alter, and dismantle basic and intermediate scaffold structures (tube and fitting or system scaffolds).
*
Carry out pre-use inspections and ensure scaffolds are safe and compliant.
*
Interpret scaffold drawings and method statements.
*
Work at height using harnesses, lanyards, and other PPE.
*
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Erection and Alteration:
*
Set base plates, standards, ledgers, and transoms according to plans.
*
Add or remove scaffold sections as needed.
*
Tie scaffolds securely to the building or structure.
*
Install guard rails, toe boards, and access ladders.
Tools & Materials:
*
Safely handle and use scaffold components (tubes, fittings, boards, system scaffold parts).
*
Use scaffold spanners and levels properly.
Required Qualifications:
Part 1 or Part 2 Scaffolder:
*
CISRS Certificate
*
Valid CISRS Blue Card
*
Basic knowledge of independent scaffolds, tower scaffolds, birdcage scaffolds
*
Ability to work under supervision
Health & Safety:
*
Comply with Working at Height Regulations
*
Daily equipment and scaffold checks
*
Use full PPE including helmet, gloves, harness, boots, high-vis
Working Hours:
*
Monday to Friday 07:00am - 17.00 (but may vary)Before You Apply
